...Greek Traditions...
This week I come
again with a recipe. This time with one that requires just 15 minutes of your
time and tastes delicious.
This is one
of my favorite desserts and it is vegan and healthy too.
I call that a
win-win.
This is a Greek
traditional food called Halvas, enjoy!
Ingredients
2 cups of semolina
1 cup of olive oil
2 cups of sugar
4 cups of water
Cinnamon
In a pan, put
the water the sugar and the cinnamon and bring to boil.
In another
pan, put the olive oil and sauté the semolina until it turns into a bronze color
and then proceed by adding the syrup and stir until the mixture is not sticky
in the pan.
Put in a cake
pan to give it shape and enjoy!
