Now that the weather starts to warm up a little bit it is a great time for most of us who get bored with their houses easy to make new decorations around the house and freshen up our space and brighten our moods just a bit. You don't need to make huge changes just use items that you already have and get creative. 

• A great idea to start fresh is to get a big basket and go shopping in your own house. Just go in every single room of your house and pick the items you like the most, then place them were you think will match more. 
• Another thing you can try is to move your furniture around and place them in a different position than before. Dare to make bold changes because even if you don't like it in the end you can always put them in a different place later.
• If you decide to buy new decor pieces but you are on a budget don't worry, just hit the flea market were you can find all kinds of stuff and some of them can be really good vintage pieces that would cost you a fortune if you were to buy them in a store. 
• New carpets can give to your space a totally new look. I personally chose rugs to give a more bohemian look to my place.
• You don't want to buy new sofa-of course!- but you want to do something different with it. There is a solution to this problem also. you can a-  use a throw on in a colour that will match your sofa or b- you can use a sofa cover, that way you change your sofa but you also keep it protected. both choices are really cheap and can make a big difference to the finished look.
• Flowers. Any kind of flowers or greenery you like. Whether they are in a vase or a pot, flowers give life to your space and also they improve our mood. 
• Last but not least mirrors. This is a piece that is a bit more expensive than the rest but it's an investment piece that will last you a long time-unless you break it-and it also can be in any shape,size and colour you like. You can pick a vintage one, which are my personal favorites, or a modern looking one. Ether way they brighten up the place and they give the illusion of space which is always a good thing.
